Decision on announcing the capabilities ratings of consultants in the Transport sector of 2016
No. 1386/QD-BGTVT on May 16, 2017 of MOT

The Ministry of Transport issued the Decision No. 1386/QĐ-BGTVT dated May 16, 2017 to publicize ranking list of the consulting organizations in Transport Sector in 2016, which is a basis for the Investor and its Representatives to considerably select appropriate consulting organizations to implement projects that the Ministry of Transport is appointed at the decision making level and other relevant works. Also, other investors are also encouraged to refer to such assessments and ratings of the consulting organizations in both design engineering and supervision consultancy stipulated in this Decision. 

This Decision ranked the consulting organizations in Transport Sector in 2016 by sectors: road, rail, waterways - port, airway in TOP 10, TOP 20, TOP 50, TOP 100 and the remaining group in order from highest to lowest.

This Decision named the following:

- The first-ranked consulting organization in design engineering:  Portcoast Consultant Corporation (Portcoast) in waterways - port sector

- The first-ranked consulting organization in supervision consultancy:  Portcoast Consultant Corporation (Portcoast) in waterways - port sector

- The first-ranked consulting organization in verification consultancy:  Portcoast Consultant Corporation (Portcoast) in waterways - port sector

Portcoast has been first-ranked by the Ministry of Transport in five consecutive years (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016) since the Ministry of Transport starting the ranking.
