Portcoast Affirms Its Pioneering Role in Port Digital Transformation at the ASCE Ports 2025 International Conference

At the 17th Triennial International Conference on Port Planning and Development (ASCE Ports 2025), organized by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) from June 1-4, 2025, in Providence, Rhode Island, USA, Portcoast has affirmed its pioneering position in the digital transformation of the port sector (Scan to BIM, BIM-GIS, Digital Twin...). Representing Portcoast, Mr. Tran Phuc Minh Khoi—a Member of the Board, Deputy General Director, and Director of the Digital Transformation Center—presented four groundbreaking scientific reports focused on digital technology solutions for maritime infrastructure: • Building a 3D BIM-GIS Model for the Digital Transformation of Inland Waterways in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. • Digitization of Industrial Zone and Seaport Infrastructure of Dung Quat Economic Zone in Vietnam. • Integrating Port Planning Information into a Web-Based Geographic Information System Platform. • Augmented Reality (AR) and BIM in Infrastructure Project Management and Supervision for Port Projects. All four of these research papers were selected for publication in the official "Ports 2025" conference proceedings. This highlights Portcoast's leadership in implementing advanced technologies such as BIM, GIS, and Augmented Reality (AR) to enhance the efficiency of management, planning, and supervision for complex infrastructure projects.
