PORTCOAST PARTICIPATES IN SEMINAR ON BIM, AI, AND DIGITAL TWIN IN CONSTRUCTION AT INDUSTRIAL UNIVERSITY OF HO CHI MINH CITY

On May 6, 2025, the seminar titled “Current Status, Trends, and Standards for BIM, AI, and Digital Twin Technologies in the Construction Industry – with a focus on MEP and Air Conditioning Systems” was held at the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City. The event brought together a wide range of experts, researchers, and pioneering enterprises in the fields of construction and digital technology. Representing Portcoast Consultant Corporation, Mr. Trần Phúc Minh Quang – Vice Chairman of the Board, Deputy General Director, and Director of the Artificial Intelligence Center – delivered a presentation on the application of Digital Twin technology in the planning, design, and operation of infrastructure through the integration of BIM, GIS, and AI. His presentation emphasized the importance of multi-source data integration, particularly the development of BIM-GIS models using Laser Scanning technology as the foundation for Digital Twin implementation. The session also covered practical case studies, benefits, challenges, and key lessons learned from applying these technologies in asset and infrastructure management projects across Vietnam, led by Portcoast.
